Learning Disability Research Goes Live
Learning Disability Research |
Learning Disability Research`s current project run by Rebecca Andrews aims to explore parents’ views and give them a voice to
increase understanding of the psychological impacts of parenting a child
with a learning disability and the processes involved when children go
into residential care.
This latest research project has scope to potentially aid parents, families,
professionals, service users and organisations. Increased knowledge of
the processes involved and identification of the indicators for this
process may be influential in terms of the design of adequate support
programmes and early interventions to aid the immediate and long-term
psychological wellbeing and health for both parents and children within
the learning disability field.
